There will be a 9-12th grade player meeting in the auditorium on March 3rd during Focus for all those interested in trying-out for the high school baseball teams this spring.  You can pick up a pass from the activities office or a baseball coach at Blaine High School starting in February.

Make sure you have the following forms and fees in and you are signed up with the Activities Office by the first day of try-outs (March 22nd).  There will be a team registration for all 9-12 grade players on Wednesday, March 17th at 2:30 in the Activitites Office at Blaine High School.  For more information regarding the registration process click here.

1)  Medical Physical on file in Activities Office, within 3 years.

2)  Eligibility form filled out.  Only needs to be done if this is the athlete's first sport participated in at Blaine High School this school year.

3)  $280 to Blaine High School, Individual maxium for school year is $650, family maximum is $850.

Change of location - Off-season captain's practice for 10-12th grade Pitchers: Mondays & Fridays starting at 6:20 am, Wednesdays 7:05 am and depending on what time each pitcher has signed up to pitch (Blaine High School)

Off-season captain's practice for all 9-12th grade players Fielding & Hitting: Tuesdays & Fridays 6:00 am - 7:15 am (Blaine High School)

All off-season work-outs are optional.  If there is no school there will be no captain's practice.

Help Blaine Baseball by purchasing an advertisement to be displayed at Paul Parkway, Field #1 at the Blaine Baseball Complex.  A donation of $300 will get you an 5 X 10 vinyl sign to be hung on the outfield fence from April thru September.  For each year after a donation of $100 will keep your sign up.  SUPPORT BENGAL BASEBALL AND ADVERTISE YOUR BUSINESS TOGETHER!  For more details

Ronnie and Ben both signed National Letters of intent to play college baseball next season.  Ben signed with NAIA Jamestown College in North Dakota, which has a proud baseball tradition.  Ronnie signed with NCAA Division II Minnesota State-Mankato which also has an excellent baseball program.  Congratulations to them both!

Four former Bengals are playing college baseball this spring.  Lee Arvold is pitching for UM-Morris, Josh Hintz is a catcher/outfielder for Concordia-Moorhead, Ryan Jerome is a pitcher for Bethel University and Andrew Gazich is an outfielder for Anoka-Ramsey Community College.
