Andrew Jorgensen did all he could to give B Squad a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Minnetonka, as B Squad lost 8-4 in seven innings at Paul Parkway on Monday.

Jorgensen reached base three times. He singled in the third and fifth innings.

Player, Player and Player helped lead Minnetonka. They combined for six hits and three RBIs.

Luke Johnson was charged with the loss. He lasted just 4 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed five runs.

B Squad jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first. A single by Jonathan Coello, plating Jorgensen started the inning off.

Minnetonka never surrendered the lead after the fifth inning, scoring five runs on an RBI double by Player, two singles, and an RBI triple by Player.

Minnetonka built upon its lead with three runs in the sixth. A clutch error scored Player to open the scoring in the frame. That was followed up by Player's single, scoring Player.
