Fifth-inning rally sparks win for B Squad, 11-3

A seven-run explosion in the fifth inning carried B Squad to an 11-3 win in seven innings over Saint Francis at Paul Parkway on Tuesday.

B Squad scored in the fifth on a two-run double by Mac Enlow, an RBI double by Tony Strand, , an error, an RBI single by Zachary Ericson, and a fielder's choice.

Coello racked up two RBIs on three hits for B Squad. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the second and fifth innings.

Tyler Strand picked up the win for B Squad. Strand allowed three earned runs, four hits and no walks while striking out three over seven innings of work.

B Squad didn't relinquish the lead after scoring three runs in the first inning when it scored on a groundout by Connor Melton, an RBI single by Jason Kaul, and an RBI triple by Coello.

Two Saint Francis runs crossed the plate in the top half of the third, making the score 4-3. An RBI double by #13 and a groundout by #10 fueled Saint Francis' comeback. B Squad stopped the rally after Strand got #4 to ground out.

Early lead gives B Squad victory over River Falls, 11-2

B Squad jumped out to an early lead on River Falls and captured an 11-2 victory on Monday at Paul Parkway.

Six runs in the first three innings allowed B Squad to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Charles Studer during the second inning supplied the early offense for B Squad.

Studer had a hot bat for B Squad. Studer went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs.

River Falls couldn't get anything going so long as Tyler Strand was on the hill. Strand held River Falls hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Luke Johnson got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. He allowed two runs over 4 1/3 innings. He struck out three, walked four and surrendered two hits.

#4 couldn't get it done on the mound for River Falls, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed no runs.

B Squad added five more runs in the bottom of the third. A single by Mac Enlow ignited the offense,, plating Connor Melton. That was followed up by Tony Strand's single, bringing home Enlow.

B Squad survived River Falls' surge and put up two runs of its own in the fifth. B Squad scored on an RBI double by Andrew Jorgensen and.

B Squad fourth-inning burst enough to top Andover, 7-1

A four-run explosion in the fourth inning led B Squad to a 7-1 win in seven innings over Andover at Paul Parkway on Friday.

B Squad scored in the fourth on an error, an RBI single by Coello, an RBI single by Mac Enlow, and an RBI double by Tony Strand.

It was a good day at the plate for B Squad's Coello. Coello went 1-3, drove in one and scored two runs.

Connor Melton picked up the win for B Squad. Melton pitched a complete seven inning game and allowed no earned runs, five hits and three walks while striking out three.

B Squad went up for good in the first, scoring two runs on an error and an RBI single by Jason Kaul.
