Update: Summer Baseball (5/22/20)
The state has clarified the guidelines for youth sports, and it appears we will be able to begin organized practices as of June 1. We are putting together a plan to start the week of June 1, using the state's guidelines. We do not yet know how many teams we will be able to field and it is quite possible there will be a tryout process, but this has not yet been defined. It appears games would begin in Phase III, with the exact date to be determined.
Anyone who registered for spring baseball should have received an email from Coach Erickson on May 22 with more information. We will provide more specific plans as soon as we have details in place. Safety will be a top priority. There are still no guarantees on whether or when we will be able to play games, but we definitely see these updated guidelines as a step in the right direction.
