Sixth-inning lead change vaults Champlin Park past 9A, 6-5

9A lost the ballgame after losing the lead in the sixth inning Tuesday, as Champlin Park grabbed a 6-5 victory in seven innings at CPHS.

Michael Pardo was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed no runs.

9A jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the top of the third. Derek Heldman got things going for 9A with a single. Alex Byers singled, bringing home Aaron Hamby and Heldman. 9A pushed more runs across when Byers and Haring scored on a two-run single by Lucas Larson.

Champlin Park didn't relinquish the lead after scoring three runs in the sixth inning when it scored on two singles and an RBI triple by Twinstom.
