I hope everyone is doing well and gearing up for the season! I am reaching out tonight for help as a fundraising opportunity came up for our program. The Northtown Cub Foods is having a Grand Reopening Event on Friday, March 2nd and reached out looking for teams that might be interested in raising some money by bagging groceries at their redesigned store.
Typically, we have only done fall and spring bagging (which we will continue to do) as our fundraisers (besides the card sales), but this opportunity is something I thought we could definitely take advantage of. Everything will run the same as our previous bagging events - we need players to sign up to work the shifts as well as parents to supervise. Players should wear pants and some type of Blaine baseball shirt (no hats).
The is a great way for the players to earn the volunteer hours required by some classes and for NHS. I can sign off on anyone that needs a form filled out.
The shifts on Friday, March 2 are:
Shift 1: 3:00-5:30pm
Shift 2: 5:30-8:00pm
