Blaine 9A Freshman scores more runs than Osseo, takes victory on Thursday to the tune of 5-2

Blaine 9A Freshman fired up the offense in the first inning. Hayden Zenk drove in one when he singled.

Brennan O’Brien led the Blaine 9A Freshman to victory on the pitcher's mound. He went four and two-thirds innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out seven. Dylan Berg threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen. Berg recorded the last seven outs to earn the save for Blaine 9A Freshman.

Olson took the loss for Osseo. He lasted two innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out one and walking one.

Ben Wallraff led Blaine 9A Freshman with two hits in three at bats. Blaine 9A Freshman tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Tanner Vogel led the way with three.

Osseo didn't commit a single error in the field. Phenow had six chances in the field, the most on the team.
